‘A Place in History"

What happens to places touched by news events after the cameras move on?

Bishop Monkton resident and author, Colin Philpott, will take us on a journey to the scenes of major news events to find out how places deal with being in the spotlight. His trip includes the hotel which collapsed into the sea in Scarborough, the place where the Great Train Robbery took place, scenes of great tragedy like Dunblane and Lockerbie but also places like the Soho loft where John Logie Baird first demonstrated television and the farm field where Bob Dylan once performed. Discover what’s happened since to all these places and many others.
