VISIT TO ALLERTON CASTLE

FRIDAY 10™ JULY 10am to 1pm

It has been an ancestral home, a training centre for missionaries, a base for the Canadian Airforce and the home of a Catholic religious order. Now it's well-known as a local wedding and events venue just off the A1(M).

An organised private tour starts at 10 a.m. with tea/coffee and cake in the ballroom and a brief talk on the Castle's history with a guided tour and a walk in the gardens to follow. The visit ends at 1p.m.
