Welcome! Come on in to the wonderful world of Bishop Monkton Harvest Festival! There was an abundance of gorgeous flowers, fruits, vegetables all supplied and styled by the dedicated team of volunteers, supported this year by Bob Forbes in Liz Darbyshire’s absence.

Harvest is a time of gathering, celebrated as a festival to express gratitude for the year’s yield. All gifts of tinned and dried products are being shared between the Harrogate Homeless Project and the Ripon Salvation Army Food Bank.

A Harvest Soup Lunch was enjoyed in St John’s Church and Harvest services at both Bishop Monkton school and church were enjoyed on Friday 3rd October and Sunday 5th October respectively. Both services were followed by a “bring and share” supper and all were welcome to join the celebrations.
