Crowds Flock in Sunshine to Hog Roast - more photos to be added shortly

The sun shone, the crowds flocked and a great time was had by all. Bishop Monkton’s Annual Hog Roast was judged a success as the Bank Holiday weather proved to be better than forecast.

Highlights included adult and children’s Tug of War contests outside the pub and, in the case of the children, across and into the beck!; Pig and Duck races, the Hog Roast itself and a Best Decorated Cake Competition.
