Picnic tables and benches have recently been added to the outside facilities at the Village Hall which can only help enhance people's enjoyment of the site.

The Village Hall and Playing Fields are a wonderful asset to the village and the four picnic tables and benches, provided by the Hall's Committee, allow the opportunity for families and friends to share food, linger longer and simply enjoy what is, after all, rather a lovely spot in which to pass the time. (But please remember to take all your litter home.)

Three of the benches are alongside the right hand side of the path as you approach the hall, one of them opposite the playground, while the fourth one is adjacent to the boules court.

New they may be, but obviously quickly becoming popular, as when this website wandered along to take some pictures, a family was thoroughly enjoying a picnic on a beautiful summer's evening.
