URGENT - WE NEED YOU!!!!

As you may have seen, the Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) team are currently conducting a Housing Needs survey, seeking resident’s views on housing in the village. Here are some reasons why this is important:

1. We are fortunate to enjoy a variety of property design and sizes in the village, however people’s accommodation needs change over time, so it’s important to understand what we want now and in the future.
2. There is significant interest in further housing development in Bishop Monkton. Any new development should be appropriate to the neighbourhood, so again your views on what you feel is suitable is important.
3. The NDP must be evidence-based in order for North Yorkshire Council to take it into consideration when determining planning applications. Therefore, residents’ views must be included.
