The Village Hall management team have taken the decision to dispose of the BMEG costumes and props which have been stored upstairs at the hall for over 5 years without any use. There is a concern that they form a potential fire hazard and will attract mice and moths. This decision has not been taken lightly, as it is appreciated that there are many villagers who either made or wore the costumes during pantos and plays etc. and as such have a close affinity with them.

It is with this in mind that villagers who would like a certain memento are invited to contact either Phil or Gerald Shervington to arrange a viewing of the many costumes.

A deadline date of Friday 1st May has been set for anyone who is interested to make contact.

After this date the local amateur-dramatic groups will be approached to offer the costumes and props to them.
